Softer Swing
Softer swing grips are more comfortable and absorb more vibration when you hit the ball. They feel tacky in your hands and help you hold the club with less grip pressure.

Hybrid Swing
Hybrid grips combine cord in the top hand for extra grip and softer rubber in the bottom for comfort. This gives you a good mix of control and feel. 

Harder Swing
Harder swing grips, usually cord grips, are firmer and give the most traction and feedback. They’re great for control and playing in wet conditions, but they can feel rough on your hands. 

Align Swing
Align grips will have a “bulge” on the back of the grip to “help” with aiming and controlling the club head. Not for everyone, uncomfortable to some, great to others. Not common.
